I See

I see you in the beauty of all around

You spoke, it became, gentle voice not forceful or loud 

I see you in the love of a child 

Embracing, full hearted, forgiving, reconciled

I see you in kindness of others 

Desiring you, putting you first, you feed their hunger 

I see you in the work I do

It's not me, my strength, endurance comes from you

I see you in the days of rest 

Quiet, calm, peace of mind, no stress

I see you in the blessings that await 

When they arrive on time, what I need is never late

I see you in the mist of sadness and pain

For you hold me together, still hope always remains 

I see you in chaos of a busy schedule

 You are the planner, I am only the vessel

I see you when all is too much to take 

You wipe away tears, so I can get past the heart ache 

I see you in my mind throughout the day

Preparing me to get past what storms come my way

My eyes are fixed on thee to see

My burden is light, my heart is free

The best part of all is when I look to thee

I know you are always looking back at me
