My heart is racing; I'm nerves and sweaty
The pros are light, and the cons are heavy
Why did I agree to this, I want to run away
Going to pass out, I don't know what I say
My legs are shaken, and my skin runs cold
Out of my comfort zone trying to take hold
Deep breathe before I fall apart
I can't do this; there's no way to dart
Times gets closer and my heart gets faster
In my mind it's already a disaster
I am frozen but my body still moves
Convincing myself I have nothing to lose
Stepping out in faith you must believe
the ground beneath you only deceives
Must take the step which seems scary to do
But that's when God grabs hold of you
He gives you strength and equips you for the task
He never leaves you, just be willing to do as He ask
Have to be in His word, know and love Him even more
You have to be willing to knock on the door
He can open, He wants to let you in
He's the comforter, best friend
Just showing up is all you have to do
He does the work; there's no way we can do
Take the chance, jump off the cliff
Just do, don't ask what if
God is waiting, with Him we cannot fall
Do you trust Him with it all
