Christmas Poem

Oh, Christmas time once again
Time to see family and old friends
Put up a tree and hang the lights
Let's all sing Silent Night
The presents are wrapped with a bow on top
Spreading love and kindness will soon stop
What happens when Christmas is done
Do we remember God's only son
The count down to that special day
Jesus birth should matter every day
Love everyday not just around this time
That is God's plan, our main design
I see smiles and laughter all around
Faking the love, Silence is the sound
In a crowded room, yet all alone
My thought I write, I look at my phone
The reason I try is because of you
God's all that matters this I know is true
I am not sociable, this is what they say
In my mind is where I'd rather stay
Let me stay close with you, distractions free us
Merry Christmas, Happy Birthday Baby Jesus
